What we believe in and how we live it
We understand the busy lifestyles of our clients, so we offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate your schedule. We work predominantly online unless live contact is preferred. We try to keep our waiting lists short and give you accessible mental health care.
Our therapists Dr. Don van Zanten and Eva Selleck MSc. both have multiple years of experience in different branches of the (mental) health service. We use our professional experience, life experience and education to provide a therapy to help you shape the life you want and deserve. We believe in furthering our competency through schooling and strive to make you once again feel competent to continue on without us.
We at Vera Vita are firm believers in justice. Our therapists are strong believers in promoting a fair and just world. We are passionate supporters of climate justice, human rights and animal rights. We try to carry this out in the way we conduct our sessions and run our practice. We are still fallible humans that have blind spots. If you see ways in which we can improve, please let us know.
All backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender expressions are welcome at Vera Vita. Our therapists are trained to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring that our approach is sensitive and tailored to your unique needs. We offer therapy in multiple languages, including English and Dutch, making it easier for you to express yourself and feel understood.
